As is stated in John Blake's (CNN) article: "More teens are becoming 'fake' Christians." He presses that many teens in today's culture, who claim to be Christians, are actually "fake Christians." They believe something more along the lines of "Moralistic Therapeutic Deism," which means they think of God as more of a "divine therapist" who helps boost self-esteem. Blake points out that because of this many teens are abandoning their churches.
