About the Staff


Meet our Staff:

Terrie Collins - (Elementary): K5-5th

Mrs. Collins has a a B.A. in Early Childhood Development and Elementary Education from Clemson University. She taught public school for 7 years prior to starting her family. She has been homeschooling for the past 12 years and is very active with the American Heritage Girls in the Greenwood area. She has been married to Greg for over 20 years; they have 2 children.

Heather Evans - Middle/High School Math, ACT/SAT Prep

Mrs. Evans is a Greenwood native; graduating from Emerald High at the top of her class. She holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics, with a secondary teaching certificate, from Lander University. She recently taught at Emerald High and is happily married to Eric. They both are assistant Youth Group Leaders at New Covenant Church in Greenwood.
 
Taylor Phillips - Middle/High School Language Arts, ACT/SAT Prep

Mrs. Phillips earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Communications at Georgetown College. She previously taught at Providence Christian School in Dothan, Alabama. She and her husband,Jay,traveled for an entire year with the "Children of the World Organization" - raising funds for foreign orphanages.She and Jay have a baby boy.
 
Anna Lyle - Spanish (Beginning and Intermediate)

Miss Lyle is the founder of "Shoes for Oscar", a ministry to the children of Honduras. She lived in Honduras for almost a year and has also made several trips to other Spanish speaking countries. You may learn moire about her non-profit organization at http://www.shoesforoscar.org
